A conversation with myself
I know, I know I’m blessed but there’s is so much more I want.
I’m not selfish, I’m driven, motivated, do I want too much?
How much is too much, why limit myself. I’m where I am because of how I am.
But, what If I want to be more, want more, love more. Why isn’t it ever enough.
Maybe I should be happy where I am, is this what separates us? The desire to achieve
greatness.
If I settled for the status quo, how different this would be. How much is too much? Yes, plants need water. However, too much water bring about death. What is the too much water in my life? Is it the desire to want what I don’t have. If it is, if I dis-continue the want will I be ok? It’s all a balancing act, but I’m out of balance. Like many, the desires of the heart, and not the reality of life. There is defiantly truth, but how do I get back into balance.
Paying the price, that we all have to pay. Everything cost, if you’re a stripper, the money may be great, but an emotional roller coaster can take you somewhere you don’t want to be. If you’re a corporate executive, with a good income you may lack the time to enjoy the life-style you worked so hard for, and while working you may hate your job, another emotional ride. If you have lots of friends, or associates..hey I’ve been there before..ughhh the pressure of looking your best, being there for everyone, the glue that holds all together, but within all groups there a leaders and followers. The leader, sounds good, reality, not so much. The followers want to lead, but can never quite pull it off, but again emotions. If you a hot model, very good looking, you get a lot of attention, but as the saying goes not all attention is good attention. The question is, why is he really interested? Is it because of my looks only, after we sleep together will it last. There are so many different scenarios it’s difficult to list them all but don’t fret. I’ve left you with enough to ponder for the night, to be continued, it’s just a conversation with myself.
